Initially, I was very angry at the coyote for killing Milo. It wasn't healthy to hold a grudge, so I decided to learn all about the coyote. After much study, I learned to love the coyote and understand how valuable they are to the ecosystem. I am a defender of the coyote and ask that others get educated on their behavior. Please don't ever feed a coyote or encourage them to not be afraid of people. Not only does that pose a risk for our furry pets but also for the coyote who will end up being killed if it is a nuisance. If you see one do all you can to scare them away - yell and scream and throw rocks. The last thing we want is for them is to be comfortable around people.
